The American Bigfoot Society

The American Bigfoot Society is currently seeking members from across the country. We are currently accepting members for two fields of service.

Field Operations - This branch is for those who wish to be active field researchers or investigators. They are responsible for investigating sighting reports and engaging in group field activities.

Field Support Services - This branch is for the "armchair researcher". These folks will collect historical data on sightings and location, assist in information gathering on investigations, and supply information to the field teams.

If you can fill one of these rolls please visit our MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION link. Membership applications are being accepted regardless of what state you may live in. The American Bigfoot Society is a new organization focusing on active field research and the exchange of information. If this sounds like a group you would like to participate in, please check out our website at Americanbigfootsociety.com

We look forward to hearing from those as excited about this research as we are!!

But is the American Bigfoot Society going to blacklist those paranormal researchers, for whose knowledge which was gained through actual field experience with the Bigfoot, that happens to exactly match the knowledge of America's Native Americans? That is the great unanswered question by the ABS. Otherwise, the "American" should be taken out of the name, if they cannot as a bare minimum, accept the 1000's of years of knowledge that has been passed down by various Native American tribes. In their infinite wisdom, they could just attempt to toss out that knowledge, like soooo many other socalled research groups, as unproven and obviously without merit.

    Hello Spiritman.

In answer to your question: The American Bigfoot Society is a Flesh and Blood organization. The ABS does not wish to get involved in the many "issues" surrounding the paranormal aspects of this animal, instead we will simply research and document whatever we come across. We will in no way discount or ridicule the many, many stories that have been retold by the Native Americans, they have their stories for a reason, and I personally am not involved in this research to attack beliefs held firmly by these fine people.

Everyone has their own "ideas" when it comes to this animal. If you chose to investigate the "paranormal aspects" then more power to you. I just do not have time to investigate every mystery surrounding this animal.

I just hope it's out there.

    Melissa
