Interview with Dr. Jeff Meldrum
Last Wednesday on "Let's Talk Bigfoot", our guest was Dr. Jeff Meldrum. Dr. Meldrum answered questions for an hour and a half, and was happy to do so.
During this time we discussed everything from the tracks to the Skookum Cast. If you have never heard Dr. Meldrum speak on the issues in Bigfoot Research, you should listen to this interview.
I could go on for hours about this interview and the things Dr. Meldrum had to say, but I would prefer you listen to him discuss these issues for yourself.
I have been lucky to have met Dr. Meldrum and had very good conversations with him on two occasions, but I still learned new information during this interview, and I know you will too.
It's my personal opinion that we should not only support the field researchers who do their thing, but the scientists and academics who are interested in this as well. Dr. Meldrum's interest is sincere and he truly wants the answers so many of us are looking for in the field.
During this interview Dr. Meldrum also addresses the recent criticism he has undergone, and he does so with grace and style. I can respect someone like that.
If your interested in Purchasing Dr. Meldrums Book "Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science" you can do so by clicking the book cover photo on the left. This book is an excellent read, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this field of study.
I would like to thank Dr. Meldrum for allowing this interview and I truly hope to have a part 2 very soon :)

I, too, have talked with Dr. Meldrum on a couple of occasions and have found him to be most open and, indeed, does handle criticism with grace. His mild mannered and pragmatic approach to Bigfoot is an asset to the search as well as his vast knowledge of his field of research and his fearless approach to the subject. He is willing to share that knowledge with everyone and you never feel he is talking down to you. A most admirable asset.
